He has had advert syncs with numerous production music tracks and my production music has been featured in 100’s of tv shows and films worldwide.

Andy Wood is a studio musician working in London working mainly in the field of film, TV, video game and record sessions. Known for being versatile in many styles, Andy has performed orchestras including the London Symphony Orchestra, The Philharmonia, RPO, RLPO, the Halle, LPO, John Wilson Orchestra and many others.

Having played and recorded with Sting, Madonna, Pavarotti, Bjork, Adele, Cher, Bono, Pink, Sade and Seal and is no stranger to performing with artists with only one name and has also recorded with Stevie Wonder, Quincy Jones, Mick Jagger, Tony Bennett, Little Simz and Paul McCartney, The 1975, amongst many others.

Andy has played tenor, bass, contrabass trombone and euphonium on hundreds of Hollywood movie soundtracks including several Bond films, Lord Of The Rings, Star Wars – Hans Solo, several Mission Impossible films and has worked for composers such as James Horner, John Williams, John Powell, Tom Newman, Alan Menkin, Alexandre Desplat, Mark Graham, James Newton Howard, Alan Silvestri, Jerry Hey, Hans Zimmer, Lorne Balfe, William Ross and lots of others.

Andy is a member of the BBC Big Band and has been in the Strictly Come Dancing band for many years so it’s quite hard to actually avoid the sound of his trombone playing!
