The challenge of producing music for ROCK NEWS & SPORT was that there are already so many news and sports themes available. The aim was to create authentic rock tracks that also met the structural demands of modern news and sports broadcasting, because today’s fast-moving news landscape demands a different kind of energy.
Roger said, “My musical background has served me well on this project because I have a lot of experience writing music with this sort of structure. Over the years I have been commissioned to write so many packages for professional broadcast and, in combination with what I think are memorable themes and strong melodies, this is a really unique and useful combination.
