Great to see this new placement from the team at No Sheet Music for Church’s cool new festive online campaign, featuring ‘Deck the Hall’ from Score 008-9 One Jazzy Christmas by renown jazz and big band composer/ musician Dick Walter.
Happy Holidays from ‘The Church’s’. A cast of charismatic characters welcomes the festive season at St. Giles House in Dorset. This rambling country manor sets the scene for a celebration that takes tradition, adds brand new rituals and sprinkles in a little English eccentricity with a playful family gathering, starring a cast of exuberant characters exchanging gifts and engaging in society games in the spirit of the season, takes centre stage in the new Holiday campaign with creative direction by David James, photography by Phil Poynter, and styling by Tom Guinness. From dancing on tables in shiny Oxfords to relaxing in sumptuous slippers, the images and video capture Church’s design’s inherent English eccentricity and versatility.

Score 008-9 / One Jazzy Christmas
PIANO TRIO / VOCAL / COOL
Dick has been rooted in jazz since his teens, and so was an obvious choice to do an album of jazz interpretations of well-known Christmas tunes. His acclaimed 1999 CD, Secret Moves, resulted in John Fordham, The Guardian reviewer, commenting: “Walter has undoubtedly forgotten more technique for this kind of work than most composer/arrangers ever knew.”
